Podiatrists are qualified to perform minor surgeries in the clinic under local anaesthetic. The procedures are conducted in the clinic rooms under strict infection control guidelines to minimise the risk of infection.

In Room Nail Surgery

This minor surgical procedure involves the removal of a small part of the side of the ingrown nail, followed by the application of a chemical which prevents that section nail from regrowing.



For most cases the minor wound has completely healed by 6 weeks, some cases may take a little longer. Current Research shows this simple in-room procedure has up to 95% success rate
